The DMV Test Instructors are supposed to follow the laws and rules of the roads w/o any "tricks"; as for your scenarios, it is difficult to see what you are trying to describe - when turning right, always turn from the nearest right hand lane into the nearest right hand lane, not going into the middle or left most lane
