If Earth didn't rotate, how would air flow be?

An isobar is a surface of constant pressure. That means the air on one side of the isobar is at a higher pressure than the air on the other side of the isobar. With no Coriolis acceleration, air would be accelerated purely by pressure differentials, and would therefore move perpendicular to the isobars.
