Instead of looking for blame for tsunamis, shouldn't we talk about unsustainable lifestyles?

Humans have created an unrestrained appetite for consumption- we only take and rarely think about giving back.What will we do when we're all poisoned, and there's just nothing left to take? Easter Islanders devolved into cannibalism....will we eat radioactive corpses?
