I am 33 weeks and 3 days pregnant...and i have been having some creamish white mucus discharge...?

i have been having some kind of discharge which resembles the nose mucus kind off.its like long and stringy and sticky too..( i m sorry for all those nasty details)....but when ever i pee....i always find that thing coming out......i guess its the mucus plug...well i m so restless.....i have been having my braxton and hicks contractions too but they r not painfull....and they are like not very often........and i feel heavy in my pelvic area.....between my thighs especially....has any one gone through this...if so ....do you think i m close to labour.....i have in appointment in 2 days...but very curious to know.....this is my first pregnancy so really very anxious......and having during this period is it safe?.........pls any advise appreciated........
